Privacy policy.
Last updated 20 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data VES Digital collects through vesdigital.ro and when you contact us, why we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. We collect as little as we can: the site works without any personal data, and analytics only runs if you accept it.
Who we are
The website is run by VES DIGITAL S.R.L., the controller of the personal data described here. Questions about your data go to our privacy contact below. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require one for a company of our size and activity.

What we collect and why
When you visit the site
Our site is served by Cloudflare, which handles each request for us: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser and device type, and the page that linked to us. This is used only to deliver the site, protect it from attacks and fix faults. We see totals, such as the number of visits, not individual records, and we keep no server logs of our own. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare keeps the records only as long as it needs them for these purposes, under its data processing terms with us.
Analytics, only if you accept
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, time spent, the site or search that brought you here, approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store), and your device, browser and screen size. We use this to see which content is useful. We do not use it for advertising, and Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from . Analytics data is kept for 14 months. If you reject or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded.
When you email us
We receive your email address, your name if you give it, your message and anything you attach. We use it to reply and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: taking steps you have asked for before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We keep the correspondence for up to 3 years after our last exchange. If it leads to a contract, we keep what Romanian law requires for contracts and accounting, for as long as it requires.
When you book a call
The “Book a call” button takes you to our booking page on cal.com, run by Cal.com, Inc. There you give your name, email address and, optionally, a note about the call, which Cal.com passes to us to schedule it. We use these details to hold the call and follow up. Legal basis: as for emails. We keep them on the same terms. Cal.com’s own privacy policy covers its website.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. It is handled for us by these service providers:
- Website hosting: Cloudflare, Inc., which serves the site from its network.
- Email: Cloudflare, Inc. forwards mail sent to our addresses to a Gmail mailbox, run by Google Ireland Limited.
- Analytics, only with your consent: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics).
- Call bookings: Cal.com, Inc. (cal.com).
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a public authority with a lawful request.
Transfers outside Europe
Cloudflare, Google and Cal.com may process data in the United States. Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving adequate protection. Where a provider is not certified, the transfer relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you whether we hold data about you, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- restrict how we use it;
- give you the data you provided in a machine-readable form, or send it to someone else;
- stop using it on the basis of our legitimate interest (you can object at any time);
- stop using it where you consented: withdrawing consent does not affect what happened before.
To use any of these rights, email gdpr at vesdigital.ro. It costs nothing. We reply within one month, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, Sector 1, București, dataprotection.ro, or to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Good to know
- We make no decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not build profiles.
- You don’t have to give us any personal data to use the site. Without an email address, though, we can’t reply.
- The site is meant for businesses, not for children.
- If this policy changes, we’ll publish the new version here with its date. If the change affects analytics, the cookie banner will ask for your choice again.
The cookies we use are listed in our cookie policy.
